Frequently asked questions
What's the platform fee?
When clients pay for bookings through your page, we take a small fee on each transaction — 5% on Free, 3% on Starter, and just 1% on Pro. This is on top of Stripe's standard processing fees.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your billing dashboard or the Stripe Customer Portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months.
How do I get paid?
Client payments are collected by BookSimple via Stripe. We deduct the platform fee (5%/3%/1% depending on your plan) and pay you out weekly via PayPal. Set up your PayPal email in Settings to start receiving payouts.
What happens when I hit the free limit?
Your booking page will stop accepting new bookings for the rest of the month. Existing bookings are unaffected. Upgrade to Starter for unlimited bookings.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan requires no payment information. You only need a card when upgrading to Starter or Pro.
